• Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Location data — when you use the app, we access your device's GPS to display wind grades and stand recommendations relative to your position. Location data is used in real time and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.
• Hunt log data — stand locations, hunt dates, weather conditions, and notes you enter manually. This data is stored to power AI recommendations and your personal history.
• Device information — basic device and OS identifiers used for app functionality and crash reporting.

How We Use It

• To provide wind grading, AI recommendations, and all core app features.
• To send you product updates and waitlist communications (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To improve the app based on usage patterns and feedback.
• To process subscription billing through our payment provider.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Hunt log and account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Third-Party Services

STRYX uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Beehiiv — email list and waitlist management.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchase processing.
• OpenAI — powers the AI property coach feature. Hunt queries may be sent to OpenAI's API; no personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
• Weather data providers — real-time wind and weather data used for stand grading.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
